Paco Rabanne - Phantom Eau De Parfum
Line: Men's Fragrances
Lavender, Lemon and Vanilla.
Paco Rabanne's "first connected fragrance." The fragrance's screw-on cap, allows for refills and features an NFC chip that gives consumers access to the "Paco Galaxy."
Its bottle is super innovative and is shaped like a robot (Pochet du Courval, Heinz Glas). Making this bottle was very complicated for the glassmakers, being able to make the flat glass shoulders of the robot that are also durable was difficult, the bottle is lacquered a translucent brown and laser engraved to reveal Rabanne's 'R'.
Phantom features a spray cap with a metallic finish (VPI Faiveley Plast, SAF) in galvanized ABS. The screw cap allows the 150ml size to be filled using Techniplast's RT-Twist technology. To fill the bottle, the consumer unscrews and removes the cap and pump before turning the refill onto the bottle neck - this gesture is designed to produce a premium user experience, VPI says.
he cap on the 100ml and 150ml sizes is connected thanks to an NFC chip. The chip is activated by placing a smartphone on the cap and gives access to the "Paco Galaxy," which includes exclusive content such as interactive filters and games, as well as personalized playlists. The 50 ml bottle features Silgan Dispensing's XDII pump, while the 100 ml bottle has the Melody pump.
Phantom comes in a box (Wauters, GPack) made of Invercote 380g from Iggesund. The cover, made of polyester, is decorated with a combination of black and white UV offset printing, multi-layer embossing and matte and gloss lacquer.
The "new generation aromatic" eau de toilette was created by Anne Flipo, Dominique Ropion, Loc Dong and Juliette Karagueuzoglou (IFF) and contains notes of lemon, lavender and vanilla.
